Happy Easter 2010! Our Family’s First Easter

I think my stomach may just be now recovering from the damage I did yesterday. Between a late lunch of lobster, meatballs, and fried shrimp….and then moving onto a dinner of ham, corn casserole, green beans, and key lime pie…I’d say I was just about wrecked!

All gluttony aside, I love Easter and the reminder that it is to all of us. It put me in a mood of such reflective thankfulness, for everything and everyone. And right before we got into our Easter clothes and headed out to church, we gave Ella her first Easter egg! This pup knew what was up, and dug right in to the spirit of the day, haha.

I die from the cuteness when I see these :)

From our family to yours, we wish nothing but blessings in the week to come! We are so thankful for all of you!

I look at my wife and my pup and (in the worst analogy ever created) I know that I’d sacrifice anything for my girls. I can’t imagine the ultimate sacrifice that was paid yesterday…I feel so unworthy at times but it only strengthens my resolve to live each day in such a way that gives glory to Him. I fail, then try again. Then fail, and then try again. Isn’t that just the broken record of lives so many times? Thankful for the redemption, that’s for sure :)

On that note…I had to post a few of “Ella and The Egg”…too adorable!!

Los Angeles Engagement Photography: Silvana and Tim

Last week, Erin and I were really looking forward to our time with Silvana and Tim in Seal Beach. We knew their engagement session was going to be “super cute” (to quote Erin) and with these two it’d be near impossible to not instantly see their love for one another! Both working at Rocky Peak Church (and getting married there in June, yay!), they met, became great friends, started dating, and fell in love. We couldn’t think of a better place for them to be married! Erin and Silvana have been friends for the past six years, they were in the same Bible study, and I’m pretty sure all four of us are counting down the days until THE day! :)

The theme for our time with them was “fun and flirty” as we walked around the Seal Beach Pier and it’s surrounding streets. With an amazing backdrop, Silvana and Tim were the adorable, fun and goofy people that everyone knows them to be; and I think that’s why these photos have an extra special “awww-factor” to them for us!

Here are some the “super-cute” moments we are so anxious to share!
