Natalie and Ryan had their beautiful wedding day at the picturesque Strawberry Farms in Irvine. One of the reasons we love weddings so much is that every single one has a story. A while the wedding day may fly by in all the hustle and bustle, the symbolism forever stands. It’s a milestone, a new chapter, the beginning of a life beside the person you can’t live without. Natalie and Ryan, like all others, have story of their own. And it goes back…way back…to their days in high school. And while many of us were just merely trying to not step on our date’s feet or chew with our mouth open, unbeknownst to them Natalie and Ryan had found that person in one another and already began their journey. Fast forward many years, from high school sweethearts to them now standing at their wedding alter and declaring their vows for one another. To know their story is to know that these weren’t new commitments they made that day, but reaffirmations of what has already made their love so incredible.

Dear Kate and Chris,

Being chosen as your wedding photographers was something I don’t think we’ll truly ever be able to express fully, but to say that it was one of the biggest honors we have yet to receive in our careers… might just get us in the ball park. We say this not because of how gorgeous your day was (and it really was, you both did an AMAZING job), or because of how stunning your dress was Kate (your first look said it all), or even because Chris rocked that charcoal tux like no one else ever could (seriously fellas, don’t even try). We say that because it was you two, Chris and Kate, two of our dear friends joining their lives together. Having the joy of watching you plan this day since you were first engaged, growing in our friendships along the way, to now see your wedding through our lenses and be next to you both throughout the day was something we will never forget. We know every single one of your guests would echo this; we are blessed to have you in our lives and can think of no two people better designed for one another than you two. Having a little head start on you both on the journey of marriage, we can tell you it’s a gift that only gets better and better. You’re a team now, don’t sweat the small stuff, and always have each other’s back; we know He’s going to use you both to do amazing things. **For all of you brides out there dying to know about all these amazing details, this was entirely a “Do it Yourself” wedding. In all of her creativity, and being an awesome wedding photographer herself, Kate uniquely designed her day and really made her and Chris’ style shine through in every detail. Along with the help of her family, friends, and family at Irvine Presbyterian Church, this day was made possible. Seeing such a large group of people rally together was truly a testimony to who these two are, and it couldn’t have been more perfect!**

Happy (belated) 4th of July to you all! We hope your holiday weekend was safe and relaxing!

It was such an amazing wedding day at the Old Ranch Country Club with Kristin and Nick last week. From the moment we arrived, they both were on cloud 9, ready to marry one another and have a blast! There are wedding days that go well, and then there are wedding days that go ridiculously well. And with Kristin and Nick, chalk one up in the “ridiculous” column. Both individually and together, they are just so much fun to be around. Erin and I definitely exchanged glances throughout the day that could be translated into “do we REALLY get to do this every weekend??” With Kristin and Nick it was beyond fantastic and as you can see, they can’t take a bad photo. It was an immense pleasure to be the ones they chose to capture their special celebration. A big thanks to Ron Pollard as well for lending an extra hand and an extra eye on the day!
