What an amazing day we had with Lexie and Erik for their wedding at the incredible Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Coast! It’s one of our favorite places for so many reasons, and the entire day could not have gone any more smoothly; largely in part to Gloria of Grand Engagements who coordinated and worked with Lexie across two time zones to design this elegant and modern wedding.
As this was a destination wedding for both Lexie and Erik’s families, one of their largest priorities was that they created an elegant setting for their reception for all who made the trip from Kentucky. With fantastic rentals from Luxe Event Rentals and Marquee Event Decor their room for only 25 guests was just stunning! Capping it all off were the ever-incredible florals from Nisie’s Enchanted Florist and added so much to an already beautiful room.
We were so fortunate to have time with Lexie and Erik both after their ceremony and also to sneak them out right at sunset to get that beautiful California glow we love so much. Wearing not one but two gorgeous gowns from famed designer Ines Di Santo, Lexie left no head unturned as both she and Erik went with us around the grounds at Pelican. Erin and I simply had the best time getting to know these two and we were so honored to be one of the few to witness their day!

Kate and Sean had such an amazing day from start to finish, where do we even begin to describe it?
In the months leading up to their incredible day at Ponte Winery in Temecula, Kate poured over their details and infused their day with such a soft, classic and almost effortless style. A couple so in love and a day so reflective of who they were together; we couldn’t think of a better wedding to close out our wedding season this year!
As we look forward to 2012, we can’t wait to have more amazing couples like Kate and Sean whose authenticity and trust enrich our lives so much and make us so thankful to be doing what we love.
